PRIVACY POLICY

Brown & Brown, P.C. is a professional corporation devoted to the general practice of law. As Attorneys, we are completely committed to maintaining strict client confidentiality at all times, including confidential personal information about our clients as required by Federal regulations and the states in which we practice: Canons of Ethics promulgated by the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers and as specifically set forth in Rule 1.6 of the Massachusetts Rules of Professional Conduct and New Hampshire Supreme Court Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 1.6. Any personal information that we obtain from our clients, whether maintained in written form or in electronic storage media, is carefully safeguarded by us both during the term of our representation and afterwards.

Any non-public information that we obtain regarding any client for whom we provide legal services, whether a natural person or other legal entity, such as a corporation, trust, limited liability company, partnership or estate will not be disclosed to any third party except as may be actually necessary for our representation of a client and the legal services we perform on the client’s behalf.

Our employees are required to protect the confidentiality of the personal information of our clients and to comply with our established policies with respect to same. They are only allowed access to personal client information when there is an appropriate reason for such access as required by our representation of our clients. Employees who violate our Privacy Policy will be subject to disciplinary action.

If you desire to review any files that we maintain with respect to your personal information, please let us know. If you notify us that any information is incorrect, we will make every effort to correct it immediately.

All of our paper files are kept on the premises at our offices. To prohibit unauthorized access we employ insured third party contractors to maintain appropriate encryption and firewalls of all of our electronic files, whether stored in our computer database or on a secure website.

In the event that we change our Privacy Policy while you are a client of this firm, we will tell you in advance and we will explain any further rights that you may have at that time. Even if you cease to be a client of this firm, our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you.

When you engage the services of Brown & Brown, P.C. as your Attorneys-at-Law, your privacy and confidentiality are assured. We do not share confidential or private information about you with anyone except as permitted by applicable law and only as required to carry out our representation of you.
